Our project will develop a set of nature-centric scenarios, and a wider Toolkit to help actuaries explore how biodiversity loss and ecosystem change could shape future financial risks**.**
We will collaborate with 'more-than-human' governance innovators, to test creative, experimental approaches that bring 'nature's voice' into decision-making.
At the moment we are putting together a database and map of more-than-human governance practices, which we will analyse and develop into a set of key principles.
We are also developing a set of workshops that bring together more-than-human governance practitioners and actuarial professionals. We will run a workshop series to co-develop ‘nature-centric’ risk scenarios for actuaries to use.
